August 21 – Bulgarian champion Levski Sofia and betting company Palms Bet are ending their five-year partnership. The bookmaker has served as the club’s shirt sponsor in a partnership that will officially terminate at the end of August.

The announcement was made in a video address by Milo Borisov (pictured below), owner of Palms Bet, who reflected on their joint journey and thanked everyone who contributed to the team’s development and achievements over the past five years.

“In August 2021 – one of the most difficult years for Levski – fate brought us together so that now, five years later, we can celebrate Levski’s victorious return as champions of Bulgaria and participants in the Champions League playoffs,” stated Borisov. “Back in 2021, this was merely a bold dream, but my team and I believed in it.”

In his statement, Borisov highlighted that these results were made possible through the combined efforts of the management, staff, technical crew, players, shareholders, and above all, the fans. He extended special thanks to the supporters and fan organizations for their constructive feedback and active involvement in the life of the club.

“Five years later, the club has stood back up on its feet and is once again leading professional football in Bulgaria. This is the result of the tireless work of the club’s management, of which I had the honor to be a part,” the Palms Bet owner added.

Throughout the five-year tenure, Palms Bet was a key partner, supporting Levski during a period of severe financial and structural challenges, followed by the club’s gradual recovery and return to being a championship challenging team.

Borisov concluded his address with a message of on-going support: “I want you to be certain that Levski will always remain a part of me and my team. I wish the club many new successes, because Levski is eternal.”
