World Cup Final and England semi-final: dates, times, teams and how to watch

Read on for a run-down of England's remaining World Cup fixture(s)

England fans were on the edge of their seats yesterday for the World Cup quarter-final against Norway. The FIFA World Cup 2026 quarter-final at Miami Stadium saw England beat Norway 2-1 after extra time to reach the semi-finals on Saturday night (July 11).

Jude Bellingham was the man of the moment, scoring both goals to send the Three Lions through to the next round. He netted the equaliser in first-half stoppage time before striking the winning goal in extra time.

With 48 teams competing across a record-breaking 104 matches, this is the largest World Cup in history.

With England now heading for the World Cup semi-final, fans will be gearing up for the next match - and, with any luck, the one after that.

For those who don't care about football, there is still something at stake if the team manages to bring it home. Prime Minister Keir Starmer has given a strong hint that there could be an extra bank holiday if England win the World Cup.

With the final looming, here's a rundown of England's remaining fixture(s) and how to watch them.

Semi-final

Having come through the quarter-finals, England will now face Argentina in the semi-finals.

Argentina, captained by Lionel Messi, beat Switzerland 3-1 after extra time just hours after the final whistle went in England's victory over Norway.

Match date and location: The match will take place at Atlanta Stadium on Wednesday, July 15, with kick-off at 8pm BST.

How to watch: In the UK, the game will be televised live on BBC One, with coverage starting at 7pm BST ahead of the 8pm kick-off.

The other semi-final will see France take on Spain on Tuesday, July 14, at 8pm BST, with a place in the World Cup final at stake.

World Cup final

If England beat Argentina on Wednesday, they will face either Spain or France in the FIFA World Cup 2026 final, depending on who comes through Tuesday's semi-final.
